為善者，不必憂其不富，為惡者，不必懼其不勝。夫有故立，有舊守。將欲取天下之情，必先已除其身。位不蓋，高者易以輕；事不必大，百姓有所均；禁之则亂，故民方蕃；度德量力，則民無不可使也。是故君子所以動而數者，以其觀也。觀其所以動，遍諸竅門也。天生民，民亦然。治斯二者，所以行天下之至道也。Hǎowàngyě,hǎowàngzhīfū!
大道之行，也！天下之至道也！
大道之行，為何如？好忘也，好忘之夫！斯其所以成大道也。天下事勢，不可以常居也。為善者，不必憂其不富，為惡者，不必懼其不勝。夫有故立，有舊守。將欲取天下之情，必先已除其身。既去其身，又恶其文。將欲取信於天下，先已知節。位不蓋，高者易以輕；事不必大，百姓有所均；禁之则亂，故民方蕃；度德量力，則民無不可使也。
是故君子所以動而數者，以其觀也。觀其所以動，遍諸竅門也。天無覆地，地無覆天，君子無霜雪之憂。乃與其民同乎？
天生民，民亦然。治斯二者，所以行天下之至道也。

"Dàdào zhī xíng, yě! Tiānxià zhī zhìdào yě!
Dàdào zhī xíng, wéi hé rú? Hǎo wàng yě, hǎo wàng zhī fū! Sī qí suǒyǐ chéng dàdào yě. Tiānxià shì shì, bù kěyǐ cháng jū yě. Wéi shàn zhě, bù bì yōu qí bù fù, wéi è zhě, bù bì hù qí bù shèng. Fū yǒu gù lì, yǒu jiù shǒu. Jiāng yù qǔ tiānxià zhī qíng, bì xiān yǐ chú qí shēn. Jì qù qí shēn, yòu wù qí wén. Jiāng yù qǔ xìn yú tiānxià, xiān yǐ zhī jié. Shì gùnjū suǒ yǐ dòng ér shù, yǐ qí guān yě. Guān qí suǒyǐ dòng, biàn zhū qiàomén yě. Tiān wú fù dì, dì wú fù tiān, jūnzǐ wú shuāngxuě zhī yōu. Nǎi yǔ qí mín tóng hū?
Tiān shēng mín, mín yì rán. Zhì sī èr zhě, suǒyǐ xíng tiānxià zhī zhìdào yě."

How does the Great Way proceed? It proceeds through forgetting, through forgetting oneself! This is how the Great Way is achieved. The affairs and trends of the world cannot be maintained forever. Good people do not need to worry about their lack of wealth, and wicked people do not need to fear their defeat. One must establish new principles and maintain old ones. If one wants to change the world, one must first change oneself. Once one has gone beyond oneself, one must also simplify one's words. If one wants to gain trust from the world, one must first understand moderation. The position should not be overly covered, as those in higher positions are easily prone to being reckless. Matters do not need to be grand, as the people need a sense of equality. When restrictions are imposed, chaos emerges, and therefore, the people become rebellious. By assessing virtue and capabilities, there is no one that the people cannot be entrusted with.
Thus, why does the noble person move and count? It is because of observation. Observing the movements and examining all the channels. Heaven does not cover the earth, the earth does not cover the heavens, and the noble person does not have worries like frost and snow. Is one not the same as their people?
Heaven gives birth to the people, and the people give birth to the same. Governing both is the way to practice the ultimate path under heaven.)
